Welcome to the beautiful San Juan Islands! I am Andy Holman with Friday Harbor Realty.
Many of the important lessons I learned in life happened behind a rod and reel here in the San Juan Islands. Fishing for me isn't just landing a salmon, but the challenge of thinking creatively while honing my persistence and patience. I have found that these skills serve me well not only in fishing, but have helped me be successful in business as well.
After I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Finance & Real Estate I went to work for an Investment Consulting Firm in Denver, Colorado. At my desk analyzing the latest quarterly performance of the Investments I covered I realized that my true calling was not at a desk in the Midwest. I simply missed the saltwater to much and I needed to make a change. After much thought I decided to move back home to the Northwest and settled on San Juan Island.
Real Estate was a logical choice for me since I have always had an interest in housing and I had a college degree which prepared me for success in the Real Estate profession. When not working for clients I can usually be found on my boat fishing and or volunteering wherever I can to benefit clean water, riparian habitat and of course salmon.
